SP street soccer tournament - The Virgins It was a whole two weeks of waiting, waiting & waiting!!! phewww, finally we came to an END... We didn't tot we could go far from the start. Players (Jaafar-Deva-Alphonso-Dawson-Ming Jia)... There were 40 teams. We were like the Underdogs. Deva aka Cannavaro as the defender, myself aka Ronaldo as the striker, Dawson aka Zidane as the playmaker, Ming Jia aka Makelele as the ball stopper and last but not least our team's Man of the match is none other than Alphonso aka Oliver Khan... Alphonso whom is not a real goal keeper himself played tremendously during the whole tournament, without him there will be no Virgins... We played, we fight all the way to the FiNAL. And who did we meet? The same team from our group stages match which is the 'ICS' Indian Cultural Society. Indians as always... They are just too fast, they will just razzle dazzle you... Unfortunately we lost 2 - 0... But we were happy though tat we came this far... wat was disappointing was we were given only $40 voucher, can u believe it??? $10 per team to register so they should have collected $400.. And where did the rest of the money go to??? Wat a whush man... anyway we enjoyed our journey throughout the tournament. See below for pics...
