After the tournament in my school, the latest event was tat we (AL-CALIPH) went to participate in Topper Cup @ Sentosa oraginsed by Berita Harian. It was an great event but i didn't play at first due to injury, had to be out for awhile ah kan, damn... Anyway The Boys did very well beating each an every team they were given to challenge against, until reaching the FINALS even after the management kok up until we had to play extra '2' games!!! Like wat a whush man... Better buck up BERITA HARIAN... The finals was about to be on our hands when we were leading the opp. by 2 - 1 until they had to equalise in the dieing last min... Went to penalty an luck was just not on our side and we had to go home in 2nd position. But then a week later a call came to our rescue, they said due some misunderstanding in the fixtures, they call us back to play in the BIG league which we already stand in the quarter finals. At tat moment we had no choice but to replace 2 players, yan dorie had a leg injury and yan kadok was on duty in camp. Since i have recovered at tat moment Madi and myself were pull back to the team by Mr Abg Ali. It was my great honour to play for AL-CALIPH. Macham super-sub ah kan... Anyway guess who we had meet in the quarter finals??? It was none other than the Lapla Juniors... To play against them is a tough fight. But then again we did our best and were just not lucky enuf to go thru semis... We lost 1 - 0 to them. Remember guys of AL-CALIPH, to go tat far and playing together on the pitch is a great achievement... So dun look down and we can prove them wrong in the coming years. Also not forgetting to mention out GREAT sifu - Mr ABG ALI, without him by our side we wouldn't have gone tat far, His determination and perseverence brought us tat far... Thanks lots and lots...
